2024-25 Supply Lists

Kindergarten

 

Items that are shared (do not need to be marked with your student’s name):

  • 1 box of 24 crayons
  • 2 boxes of markers - Classic Colors (fatter ones that have 8-10 colors)
  • 2 boxes of colored pencils
  • 6-12 glue sticks
  • 1 box of watercolors
  • child scissors

 

Items for your student (should be marked with their name):

  • 1 cozy blanket or beach towel for quiet time
  • 1 wide-ruled spiral notebook
  • 1 pocket folder (designs and pictures are fine)
  • 1 book bag, backpack or strong plastic bag with handles (bag should be labeled with child's first & last name, and it should be large enough to easily fit student's folder and also hold a library picture book)
  • 1 container or soup-sized can decorated by your child to hold his or her crayons (decorate with stickers, pretty paper, jewels, glitter glue or whatever you like -- frosting containers w/lids work great!)
  • 1 complete extra set of clothes for your child to keep at school (place in a 1-gallon zip lock bag labeled with your child’s name)

 

Items that can be donated if you would like:

  • Baby wipes
  • Box of sandwich bags
  • Box of gallon size bags
  • Box of band-aids, regular size

 

First Grade

 

Please label these items with your child’s name:

  • Hard plastic 1 compartment pencil box (approx. 8 ½ x 5 ½, no zipper)
  • Scissors, child-sized with point
  • Backpack
  • Lunch Box (if needed)
  • Jacket

 

The following items will be stored and shared throughout the year (NO NAMES):

  • 36 or more SHARPENED pencils
  • 2 boxes of crayons, 24 count (2nd box will be given to child at ½ way point)
  • 1 set of watercolor paints (Ms. Moore does not need)
  • 2 black sharpie-style pens
  • 1 set of 12 colored pencils
  • 15 glue sticks
  • 1 box of 8 or 12 count markers (large, fat)
  • 1 spiral notebook, wide-ruled 100 pages (Ms. Moore)
  • 1 small composition notebook (Ms. Moore)
  • 1 pink eraser
  • 2 black chisel dry erase markers (odorless)

 

Last names A-H: box of tissues
Last names I-M: baby wipes for cleaning

Last names P-Z: hand sanitizer

 

In first grade, we use a special primary journal and Scholastic News weekly magazine. If you are able to donate $10.00 for the purchase of these items, it would be greatly appreciated! Cash is welcome, or checks can be made out to Pioneer Elementary School.

 

If any of this is a financial hardship, please disregard. We will be sure all students are covered with help from the Pioneer PTA.

 

Second Grade

 

Please label these items with your child’s name:

  • School box for supplies (5x8) -- no zipper pouches
  • 12 markers -- 1 set (fine tip)
  • Crayons—two boxes of 24 only
  • Scissors
  • 12 count colored pencils - two boxes
  • Hand sharpener with lid
  • Watercolor paints—1 set/single not double
  • Spiral notebook -- wide ruled / single subject / 70 pages

 

The following items will be stored and shared throughout the year (NO NAMES):

  • 6 glue sticks
  • 2 fine point black permanent markers
  • 1 pack of big erasers (pink or white)

 

Optional Donations:

  • Box of tissues
  • Gallon or quart size plastic bags
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Box of band-aids, regular size

 

Third Grade

 

 

  • 2-3 dozen #2 pencils (sharpened)
  • 1 wide-ruled single subject spiral notebook (around 70 pages)
  • handheld pencil sharpener
  • 1 box of 24 crayons
  • pointed tip scissors
  • 2 large glue sticks
  • 8 ounce bottle of white glue
  • 1 fine point black permanent marker
  • 1 extra fine point black permanent marker
  • 10 count broad markers, classic colors
  • 1 watercolor paint set
  • standard 8 x 5 pencil box (small enough to fit inside a desk)
  • backpack
  • water bottle
  • handheld pencil sharpener

Optional (to donate):

  • 1 box of quart or gallon size baggies
  • 1 or 2 boxes of tissues 
  • 1 box of band-aids, regular size
  • hand sanitizer


*Label coats, backpack, water bottle, and lunch box with your child’s name.
(You may use the black marker.) It is not necessary to label other items.

 

Fourth Grade

 

  • 36 #2 pencils, (sharpened)
  • 2 fine-tip permanent markers (black)
  • 2 ultra fine-tip permanent markers (black)
  • 1 watercolor set
  • 8 large permanent glue sticks
  • 1 box of 24 crayons
  • 2 boxes of 24 colored pencils
  • 2 highlighters: 1 yellow, 1 pink
  • 1 pink eraser
  • 1 hand held pencil sharpener
  • 1 clear plastic 12” ruler
  • 1 pair scissors, pointed tips
  • 1 composition journal
  • 2 bullet-tip dry erase markers: red, black
  • 1 box markers (thin)
  • spiral notebooks: 2 plain green, 1 plain red, 1 plain yellow
  • 2 pocket folders, plain red and blue covers
  • 1 red pen
  • Personal headphones or earbuds

Fifth Grade

 

  • Earphones or earbuds for personal computer use (labeled with name)
  • 2 composition books (wide rule)
  • 1 folder with pockets, any color
  • 2 spiral notebooks (single subject with about 70 sheets, wide-ruled)
  • 3 dozen #2 WOODEN pencils (please no plastic or mechanical pencils)
  • 2 pink pearl erasers
  • 1 three inch square sticky note pad
  • 4 glue sticks
  • 2 red ballpoint pens
  • 1 yellow highlighter
  • 4 black whiteboard markers (for example: Expo)
  • 1 set of colored pencils (8 is fine, labeled with name)
  • 1 set of colored markers (8 is fine, labeled with name)
  • 2 ultra fine point black permanent markers
  • 1 fine point black permanent marker (for example: Sharpie)
  • 1 roll transparent tape
  • 1 pair of student size scissors.
  • 1 large box of tissues (last name A-K)
