Your Voice Matters! Take the Fall Climate Survey!

Hello Olympia School District families,

You are invited to participate in our Fall Climate Survey. Here is a quick overview:

What
The Panorama Climate Survey allows our students, families, and staff members to gauge our overall well-being. The survey for students and families is shorter this year. Some of the items explored include:

• Do our students feel a strong sense of belonging?
• Do our families feel like they are heard?
• Do our staff feel supported?

The data that we receive from the Panorama Climate Survey directly informs our decision-making. Past data shows that “sense of belonging” and “self-efficacy” are areas we need to strengthen. This has prompted professional development among administrators and staff to work toward increasing Restorative Practices and AVID Strategies throughout the district.

Why
Using Panorama ensures that the well-being of our students, families, and staff is a major focus in our decision-making and actions.

The Panorama Climate Surveys (in fall and spring) are our primary source of input from our students and families. They allow us to get a temperature check of where we are as a community and see where we may need to dive deeper into our data to be intentional in our support. While we ensure there are multiple ways to hear from and partner with our community, these surveys provide a unique opportunity to hear from all of our students and families at once.

When
The Panorama Fall Climate Survey will take place Monday, September 21, 2026, through Sunday, October 11, 2026. Please check with your home school for details on when it will host the survey for students.

How
Use the links below to access the Panorama Family Survey:

• Students will take the survey in class (as designated by each school).
• Staff will take the survey through the OSD portal.
• Family surveys are provided in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, and Vietnamese. See links below.
